Are you waiting in line at grocery store and getting bored? This class will give you the tools to find easy and relaxation while waiting in line anywhere you go. I developed this class while waiting in line myself in the airport feeling really tired, with allergies and a headache and all these symptoms went away while and after doing the exercises. I have mixed together yoga breath, Feldenkrais method and the Alexander technique into a few exercises that are subtle but very important to help the body find back it’s own sense of balance and alignment. Being in touch with our bodies and present with them has a great healing effect and this class demonstrates it. It can also be done at home to improve your standing posture. -NYV0138A

Flexibility is desired by many but few understand how to attain it. This class will provide you with a sequence to help deepen your flexibility. Understand that flexibility is contingent on consistency. The more consistent you are with stretching the easier it will be for your body to go deeper as you stretch. Join this class as we work on expanding our mobility and deepening our flexibility!

I will teach you how you can condition your shoulder muscles to have a better range of motion, and that would help you preventing from injuries.
You might have seen advanced yoga practitioners can do those crazy stuff like super flexible and super strong poses and post on Instagram and YouTube. But often people don’t realize is that how much they train their muscles and condition to be like that. So, if regular person try to do something crazy poses like that, they can get injury easily. Even I have had an injury on my shoulder once, and that was because I wasn’t training enough and not conditioning my shoulders to be flexible enough and strength. So, today, I will teach you how to avoid that mistake I did!!!
I will start from easy beginner movement and then gradually work up to more advanced movement. If you can’t follow my advanced movement, that’s totally OK. Just always listen to your body, so that you wouldn’t get injury. Let’s begin!

If you have a back injury, the worst thing you can do for most injuries is not keep it moving. Which is why there is physical therapy. Also staying active in general helps keep the blood pumping and all around keeps the body healthy, and healing faster from illness or injury. Ask your doctor before doing because you may have an uncommon injury that does not fit into the normal category. Always listen to your own body when working out, you don’t HAVE TO be able to do EVERYTHING someone else or I can do. If it hurts badly and not matter how much you relax into the move it still is unbearable, listen to your body and don’t do it and do something else. So, you got a foot injury! Well, no problem! I will show you how to do yoga even if you have a foot injury and can’t stand on your foot! We will work mostly on the floor, today. You might need to adjust certain poses because all injuries are unique and require different care.
We will start with a meditation on our backs to arrive here on our mat, then do a few passive back bends and then go through several poses for leg flexibility including thread in the needle and happy baby.

The bridge pose can always be done instead of the wheel if you are not ready yet and think you might hurt yourself. Your safety is the most important part and respecting your limits as well. You will be able to do the wheel eventually as long as you do these exercises and work on your arm strength!
