Today, I’ll teach you shoulder stretches to combat routines we compress our ribs and heart and hunch our postures. We all know that technology plays a big role in most everyone’s lives, and although it brings huge advantages and conveniences, it also takes quite a toll on our posture. Looking at cell phones extends our neck, and being at computers rounds our shoulders forward. This class will help you ease tension and is optimal for anyone who sits at a desk or on a smart phone often. This class will begin with vinyassa sequences to warm up the body. The 2nd half of class features yin poses to go deeper into stretches for the shoulders. In general, this class is a great Yin/Yang or balanced combo that is stretching both for the muscles and for the internal deeper connective tissue’s, tendon’s, and ligaments.
