Naked Face Yoga 4: Jaw and Mouth!
Your jaw and mouth work all day long, chewing food, swallowing fluids, shaping your voice, and expressing your feelings. When the muscles that do this work are held too tightly or become out of balance, they can lead to headaches, tooth grinding, jaw clicking, and related symptoms of over-work. Fortunately, the same movement principles familiar to us from yoga can be applied to the muscles of the jaw and mouth. This basic program introduces you to a sequence of actions that gently stretch and re-balance the powerful jaw muscles. In addition to alleviating stress, limbering up your jaw and mouth will also tone the cheek muscles, relax mouth “lines” and rejuvenate the appearance of the lower face. NYV0058C
