If you have a back injury, the worst thing you can do for most injuries is not keep it moving. Which is why there is physical therapy. Also staying active in general helps keep the blood pumping and all around keeps the body healthy, and healing faster from illness or injury. Ask your doctor before doing because you may have an uncommon injury that does not fit into the normal category. Always listen to your own body when working out, you don’t HAVE TO be able to do EVERYTHING someone else or I can do. If it hurts badly and not matter how much you relax into the move it still is unbearable, listen to your body and don’t do it and do something else.
