You do not have to be flexible to start yoga. Yoga is a great way to start getting your body moving, to connect your breath with your body, and to stretch out the body. By keeping up a practice with yourself, your body with gain more flexibility. If you want to work on your body’s flexibility here are some yoga stretches to help. Use a yoga strap (yoga belt) to help gain more control although it is optional. This is great for the beginners who want to further their stretch. Always listen to your own body. It is great to push yourself but take your time in each stretch-breath. This is great for a full body stretch. Focus on hip openers, hamstrings, calves, shoulders, and chest. -NYV0109A
