Even if you lift, yoga works out different parts of the body that can help tremendously in your workout goals. So even if you lift, you might find it difficult to stay in a downward dog position. But with practice the body develops the strength and balance that can help you with your inversion as well as lifting. This practice focuses on the arms and back. As everything connects.
