If you suffer from lower back or hip pain, like 4/10 people, maybe we can help you! This kind of stiffness or discomfort is often a result of an irritation in the Sciatic Nerve. The feeling can be AWFUL, like a shooting pain that goes right down your leg into your feet. One of the ways to help curb this agony is to stretch this muscle located deep in your hip called the Piriformis. This is a practice that shows a few stretches that can get to that deeply located muscle so this pain can stop ruining you day. This practice is not recommended for those with severely crippling sciatica as it is still not gentle enough. Consult your doctor before doing any yoga at this strong beginner level if you have any history of health problems with your hips. Feel Better! -NYV0121B
