Naked Martial Arts Workout! (NAKED YOGA SCHOOL®) with Avartana
Today, we will practice Nude Martial Arts: Karate, Tai-Chi, and Qigong! Qigong is also known as “moving meditation” because it involves slow flowing movements, deep rhythmic breathing, and a calm, meditative mind. The purpose of qigong is to cultivate and balance qi (life force energy). We will begin with standing and start with qigong warm up exercises which were developed thousands of years ago. After our qigong warmups, we will incorporate martial arts calisthenics into the yoga sequences. This class is great for all around better circulation, energy building, and strength/dexterity building. It’s also a great fit for anyone interested in or actively practicing martial arts. The qigong portion of this class is for all levels. Once we get into the martial arts portion it’s recommended for Advanced Level. -NYV0192A
