If you find yourself frustrated with yoga poses or feel like you’re just not understanding how to get into poses, this may be a good video to explore what might be going on in your body. We will explore several basic poses- how to find a neutral seated pose, pigeon pose, downward dog, and frog pose. We will be focusing on the Yin yoga concept of finding our zone where we are challenging ourselves, but not causing pain. Our focus will be how poses feel, and not reaching a goalpost if it causes us pain. Every body is different, so hopefully some of the modifications and ideas explored in this video will be helpful to everyone watching!
