If you ever experience cramps, bloating, and abdominal pain, don’t worry – we have yoga poses for that! Yoga can help you to release endorphins which we all know help better your mood. Yoga can also calm the nervous system and increase oxygenated blood to your reproductive organs. And, Yoga eases stress and discomfort by encouraging relaxation. Yoga can just be a helpful tool. Period does not always have to set you back. It can be a process to get yourself moving but once done, you will feel more balanced and more on track. Your body and mind will thank you. We are practicing breathing deep in the belly and releasing the pressure from the cramps. I suggest even anyone to do this class who is in their period even without pain as it will help the flow and help you feel more at ease in your body. If you want to stay longer in any position, feel free to pause the video and listen to yourself. If the pain is excruciating and debilitating, then seek a doctor for proper care. -NYV0221E
